Some of the other strollers that we looked at for this review come with added accessories as part of the base package. While this might work well for some families, the Stokke company doesn’t force parents to store pieces of this system that they will not immediately use or ever need.

The chassis of this stroller, in particular, is an excellent option as the materials make it durable, and scratch resistant, so it stays new looking longer than other options.
This stroller also has premium wheels which many parents overlook at first, but undoubtedly make a stroller more pleasant to push for any length of time. Another critical function is that this stroller folds in one step, and the bassinet can also be removed in one step which allows a single parent to navigate life with a small child more effectively.
One disadvantage of this product is undeniably the price tag, and many parents balk at the thought of potentially spending over a thousand dollars on a stroller. While this reaction is understandable, it's also worth noting that this stroller will very likely outlast most other strollers on the market.
Most mainstream strollers begin to look worn around certain edges after being used for just one child, and many strollers barely make it through two children. The Stokke stroller is different because it uses higher quality materials that allow it to be cleaned, maintained, and handled without as much visible wear and tear.
Another function of this stroller that many other strollers lack is the incredible amount of adjustability that you can find in multiple places of the design. Few strollers allow the child's seat to face both forwards and backward and the Stokke also has various reclining positions.
In many strollers designs, the comfort of the parent is mostly forgotten, but with the Xplory the handlebar is adjustable in both height and angle for a more ergonomic fit. It's also worth noting that the wheels on the Stokke stroller are spaced far enough apart that you don’t have to worry about kicking them as you push the stroller.
The option to purchase accessories separately from the central part of the stroller also allows parents to decide what items they need and saves on storing parts that aren't in use. Every part of the Xplory stroller is designed for both practicality and comfort with the intention that parents can maintain eye contact with their child.
