Every mom whether they are a first time mother or fifth time mom, knows that dealing with a teething baby is easily one of the most difficult things to deal with when it comes to parenting. Not only is it tricky to work with a fussy baby, but it can be so difficult for moms all over because seeing your pain is literally one of the hardest things to deal with.
The silver lining, however, is that there are some great products on the market that can help you cope with a fussy baby. The downside though is that with so many options to choose from, it can be difficult to figure out whether you are getting a good teether for your little one, or a not so good one. This is where today’s article comes in.
So today I got my hands on a Zoli Baby Bunny Teether. I picked it out because, let's face it, it looks awesome. Hopefully, my baby feels the same. Read on for the review.
The Zoli Baby Bunny Teether will immediately appeal to adults. It has a modern minimalist design that is devoid of the bright clashing colors and unusual shapes that are normally found on baby teethers.
I absolutely loved the design of this teether. If you are like me you will have to constantly remind yourself that it doesn't matter if you like a baby product, its whether your baby does or not. Is this the best baby teether for your baby?
The Zoli Baby Bunny teether screams modern, right down to its modern packaging. If you did not know any better the packaging could just as easily contain a new set of headphones.
Prominently featured on the box are the words "BPA and Phthalate free". Most mothers look for these words when looking to purchase baby products, especially since these materials have been linked to development problems in young children. Happy to say this teether is free of them.
The instructions on the rear of the pack are simple; wash before use and you are ready to give your baby this cool looking teether. The fact that the Zoli Baby Bunny teether is dishwasher safe is a huge bonus in my book, simply toss it in with the dishes and the end of the day and forget about it.
As the retail packaging is opened, the whole teether becomes visible. You will instantly notice why Zoli have called this teether the bunny. Two colored knobs stick off the teether handle, similar to the ears of a rabbit. The two ears are made of a soft textured silicon while the white area, designed to be held by hand is solid plastic.
While the ears are soft and textured, when enough pressure is applied you can feel the harder plastic underneath. This unusual combination of soft and hard was a huge hit with my baby, who would happily gnaw on it for hours.
While the Baby Bunny Teether is designed so that both textured knobs can be chewed on either side of the mouth, in younger babies this simply isn't realistic. Both ears will simply not fit in smaller mouths.
The teether still works for younger babies but this may very well be by accident rather than design. If your baby chews on the Baby Bunny Teether vertically rather than horizontally, a single teething knob will fit in the mouth while the second nestles nicely below the chin.
The handle is unique in itself in that it can be held with one or two hands. While the handle is primarily designed for holding, my baby happily alternated between chewing the soft silicon ears and the hard plastic of the handle. Hey, whatever soothes the gums.
Another point I like about the Bunny Baby Teether while the ears are long enough to easily be chewed on, they are not so long that your baby will accidentally gag.
Another interesting point is that while most tethers come in a single color, the Zoli Baby Bunny Teether comes in two different teething colors. Until I came across this I never gave a second thought to how mothers with twins identify which teether belongs to which baby. With two color options available, you don't have to worry (sorry Mamas with triplets or more, you are out of luck).
The color variations only affect silicon ears of the teether. As you can see from the picture above color variations do not detract from the design at all, they look awesome whichever one you choose.
Overall this is one teether my baby loved and as a result, is highly recommended by me. My little one seems to have the same reaction and response to it that so many other babies have. With a teething child, it can be difficult to find the right product that will get into the right nooks and crannies of your child’s teeth to help remedy the pain. With the Zoli Baby Bunny Teether, the unique shape was perfectly designed for your little one’s mouth. In addition to that, the great grip is perfect for your baby’s tiny fingers so that they can hold on to the teether so that they have full control. Regardless, I know my experience with the Zoli Baby Bunny Teether has been a pleasant one, and I am sure that you and your little one will love it just as well.
