Kids these days have a lot for indoor entertainment, but they still need to get outside in the fresh air. The best way to do this is with a baby stroller. Strollers offer a way for you to get around with your baby without either of you getting worn out. They’re great because even young babies can see the outside, without you having to worry about having your hands full.
However, baby strollers can get relatively expensive. With so many brands to choose from at a range of prices, how do you know which one will be the best baby stroller for you?

We're here to help. Below, you'll find our detailed and comprehensive look at why one of the best stroller choices on the market right now is the Bugaboo Bee 3. This look at the Bugaboo 3 reviews its performance and features, as well as looking at how it compares to similar strollers from other top brands.
Accuracy and honesty in our rating system are vital to us. Since you may be entrusting your child to this stroller, we want you to have all the information you need to make the best choice for yourself.
To do that, we take a look at several product factors when making our recommendations, including the durability and versatility of the product. To give you the most comprehensive analysis in our Bugaboo 3 reviews we’ll also look at Bugaboo’s brand reputation, their warranty offer, and how those compare to competing brands as well.
Bugaboo has been making high-end strollers and luggage since 1994. Their desire to increase stroller performance and their innovative designs have made them popular with celebrities and regular parents alike. This Bee 3 stroller from them is one of their best lightweight strollers.
You'll immediately be impressed by the design of the stroller. The company includes every part for a reason, and there's little wasted space, making it both great for ease of use and versatility.
The Bee 3‘s design has functionality in mind. Its many attachments allow it to connect to most popular brands of car seats so that you can move the stroller seat straight into the car without hassle.
While most strollers fold with hinges like a folding table, the Bee 3 slides in upon itself, making it easier for you to fold and allowing it to save space. The folding mechanism is so simple it can even be done with one hand, making your life a breeze while you juggle handling the stroller as well as your child.
The Bee 3 has a suspension system that makes it easy to traverse obstacles and bumps in your path. The stroller doesn't wobble, so you can trust it not to fall over. The soft, cushioned handles make it very comfortable to roll, making long walks easy and enjoyable.
While rolling along the sidewalk on long walks, this stroller handles bumps and obstacles easily, despite the small wheels. Pushing this stroller is very comfortable, and it does not bounce around the way other compact strollers can.
There are a variety of design elements that set it apart from other similar strollers.
The folding mechanism of the stroller has an automatic locking system that makes it easy to fold and helps you feel more comfortable with the security of the frame.
It features easy to use brakes for added security. You can release a single folding flap two ways, by either clicking it again or raising it with your foot. The company also added a storage basket made of polyester that runs under the stroller seat. It has a capacity of eight pounds as well as some flexible mesh on the side that allows it to expand to accept more storage. This is a great feature that allows you to bring all of the children's supplies you need for a day out.
In terms of comfort and safety, it has a canopy that covers almost all of the seat and is quite broad, offering more coverage than is common in other compact strollers. The coverage can help your child stay safe from the sun and other weather elements.
Bugaboo knows safety is paramount, so the Bee 3 features a 5-point harness, a star of locking belts that are easy to adjust and make it easy to place your child in the seat. On top of that, all of Bugaboo’s models undergo hundreds of safety tests so you can trust them to be safe and reliable.
The Bee 3 is great because of how it blends functionality and quality design. Weighing only 26 pounds, it's very lightweight. That means it’s maneuver, carry, and store. However, despite this weight, it's still very sturdy, with the ability to tote 35 pounds safely.
|Item Weight||26 pounds|
|Maximum weight recommendation||35.7 Pounds|
|Specification Met||certified frustration-free|
The Bugaboo Bee 3 is undoubtedly a premium product, but it's clear you get what you pay for.
More importantly, included in that price is Bugaboo's 2 & 1 Warranty offer. If you register your stroller online within three months of purchasing it, you get an extra year of warranty on top of the two-year warranty Bugaboo already offers for its products.
We couldn't do a proper review of the Bee 3 without taking a look at how it stacks up against similarly priced stroller options. Here, we compare it to the price, usability, assembly time, quality, and warranty of three other top brands at similar price ranges.
This comparison will be against the Jordan UPPAbaby MINU Stroller.
This stroller is very smooth and comfortable to ride and drive compared to other similar strollers. This smoothness is due to the front wheel alignment and quality suspension system. What’s great about it is the combination of size and ease of use. It has the durability of a full-size stroller, but its sleek frame allows parents to maneuver it easily, despite the size.
The suspension system and smooth ride are comparable to the Bee 3, although the larger size of the Jordan does make it slightly less easy to use.
You can assemble the Jordan out of the box within one or two hours if you're focused. This is about the same amount of time as it takes to put together the Bee 3.
The Jordan is made with quality. Its' strong frame, a combination of aluminum and magnesium, reduces weight while still being durable.
The Jordan’s design does have an issue with reliability. If it's not assembled correctly, the construction can come loose. This causes the front wheels to wobble, the canopy crooked, and the frame to become unstable. These problems are alleviated with a proper build, but the fact that they can happen at all suggests some difficulties. In this category, the Jordan doesn't stack up to the Bee 3.
Just like the Bee 3, the Jordan carries UPPAbaby's 2-year warranty if registered within three months, but it lacks the extra year of protection Bugaboo offers.
Our next stroller for comparison is the Qool Baby Stroller from JOOVY.
The best part of the Qool’s design is its ability to be customized. It has 56 configurations that allow you to add things like extra seats, car seat adapters, and bassinets. The ability to make additions is an excellent feature for a family that's growing.
The assembly time for the Qool is about one to two hours, similar to that of the Bee 3's assembly time.
56 different configurations are impressive. But if you do take advantage of them, switching the pieces in and out can cause some extra wear and tear.
Other than that, there’s not much trouble with the build because the quality is quite high. A significant design element is an expandable canopy that offers plenty of protection from the sun. This feature will let your child enjoy being able to see through the canopy’s unique mesh window.
Each seat carries up to 55 pounds so it can handle a more massive load than the Bee 3 can.
JOOVY offers a 2-year warranty, which is not quite as much value as Bugaboo’s 2 & 1 warranty.
The last stroller we'll look at is the BOB Revolution Pro Duallie Jogging Stroller.
The Revolution Pro Duallie has many features that make it a good jogging stroller, but that means it has some mechanical elements that can get in the way of casual use compared to the Bee 3.
It features a locking front wheel to make the ride more stable when moving at higher speeds. While this feature is helpful for getting around anywhere with lots of bumps, it also means it won't be as maneuverable.
The Duallie also features air-filled tires, rather than simple molded plastic, that adds stability. There is also a suspension system designed in the same style as mountain bikes that makes the ride smoother.
The Duallie has a three-hour assembly time, about an hour more than that of the Bee 3.
The Duallie is certainly high quality and durable thanks to its blended metal frame. Each seat can handle 50 pounds, so it’s stronger than the 35-pound weight recommendation for the Bee 3. The rear brakes, locking swivel-front wheel, and air-filled tires offer quality and ease of use when jogging. In that sense, it's well worth the price, but the Bee 3 may be a better casual option.
This stroller has a better warranty than the Bee 3. All of BOB’s stroller frames are warranted for five years, and all components and fabrics are warranted for one year.
The Bugaboo Bee 3’s quality and style are well worth its price. The variety of design elements set it apart from other similar strollers. Notable features include the 5-point harness, easy-slide folding mechanism, powerful suspension system, and lightweight build. The Bugaboo Bee 3 is an excellent stroller option for busy parents.
While this look at the Bugaboo 3 reviews other options that offer different combinations of quality, durability, and style, we feel the Bugaboo 3 is the best of the bunch.
